Platinum Direct is a secure electronic commerce network service that provides a variety of loan underwriting, pricing, and processing services. Also, allows users to request Platinum Direct services and receive responses through an XML-based interface that exchanges data between Countrywide and users.

The Platinum Direct XML interface follows the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO) standards for credit and automated underwriting transactions, where it is possible to do so. Countrywide has developed some extensions, which supplement the MISMO standards. The following services are supported by Platinum Direct:
